Purpose

Program terms help participants understand commitments, logistics, and safety expectations. They work with our Code of Conduct, Safeguarding, and Mentor & Volunteer Expectations.

Eligibility and selection

Programs may have eligibility criteria (for example, Ukrainian youth background, academic stage, or language readiness). Selection is competitive and not guaranteed. Providing false information can result in removal from a program.

Participation expectations

  • Engage in required sessions, mentorship, or coursework in good faith
  • Communicate promptly about barriers, absences, or safety concerns
  • Respect mentors, peers, staff, and host institutions
  • Follow platform and communication guidelines set by the program

Travel, visas, and in-person events

Some activities may involve travel, residencies, or partner-campus visits. Participants are responsible for accurate personal information for logistics. Visa outcomes, border decisions, and third-party travel disruptions are outside Brave Generation’s full control. We may help with guidance or partial support when a program explicitly includes it.

Participants should maintain appropriate travel documents and insurance where required by the activity or host country.

Costs and financial support

Any stipend, scholarship support, exam-fee coverage, or travel assistance is defined by the specific program offer. Unauthorized expenses are not reimbursable. Donor-funded support must be used for approved purposes.

Conduct and removal

Serious breaches of conduct, safeguarding rules, or program requirements may lead to warnings or removal. Reports can be made through Safeguarding or Complaints.

Program changes

We may modify schedules, mentors, formats (online/in-person), or offerings when needed for safety, capacity, or partner constraints. We will communicate material changes as soon as reasonably possible.
