Evelina Nakonechna

My name is Evelina Nakonechna, and I am a graduate of the Psychology program at the Ukrainian Catholic University. During my studies, I had the opportunity to spend a semester at the University of Notre Dame — one of the top 20 universities in the United States which was a truly transformative experience, both academically and personally. Currently, I am completing a research internship at the University of British Columbia in Canada, where I am exploring the roots of dehumanization. I am also a participant in the Brave Generation program and the Cross-Regional GSAp. My academic interests center around trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), particularly in the context of war and displacement. I am committed to deepening my knowledge in clinical psychology and plan to pursue graduate studies with a focus on evidence-based trauma therapy.
