About
Daryna Kornieva has always been passionate about helping others and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. After completing her medical education as a paramedic at Kryvyi Rih Medical College in 2013, she continued her academic journey in psychology at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, graduating in 2024. Her educational path was shaped by personal experiences and the challenges of pursuing higher education during the war, including studying while Berdyansk was under Russian occupation. These experiences strengthened her resilience and deepened her understanding of the importance of accessible education, psychological support, and opportunities for personal growth.
Daryna is deeply committed to contributing to the development of Ukrainian youth and believes that empowering young people is essential to Ukraine’s future. Her background in medicine and psychology has shaped her appreciation for human resilience and the importance of supporting individuals through difficult circumstances. Through her involvement with Brave Generation, she is inspired by the opportunity to help Ukrainian young people access educational opportunities, develop their potential, and build confidence in their ability to shape their own futures. She hopes to contribute to a generation of empowered, compassionate, and socially responsible young Ukrainians who will play an important role in the recovery and development of their country.
