Yelyzaveta Nikolaienko

About

My name is Yelyzaveta Nikolaienko. I am 20 years old, I am from Donetsk, and I currently live in Drohobych. I am involved in youth diplomacy through Erasmus+ projects, where I have represented Ukraine 10 times. I am a third-year political science student at UCU. I spent a year on exchange programmes in Finland and Lithuania.

I volunteered for two months in Greece and two weeks in Finland. In total, I have been involved in public activities for six years. ’ For two years, I have been the European Youth Ambassador in Ukraine. I actively participate in simulations of various state and international institutions, including the Model UN, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and EYP.

I am interested in European politics, so I took two courses to deepen my knowledge on this topic. Today, I continue to work at the youth organisation NGO ‘Stella’ on projects that promote youth involvement in decision-making processes, the development of intercultural dialogue, and the promotion of democratic values in Ukraine and beyond.
